The tunes
Tune names, settings and recording counts come from thesession.org. Contains information from The Session's database, made available under the Open Database License (ODbL).
More tune settings come from four ABC collections:
- Henrik Norbeck's ABC tunes, by Henrik Norbeck.
- O'Neill's Music of Ireland (1903), transcribed to ABC by the O'Neill's Project: John Chambers, Henrik Norbeck, Bob Safranek, Trish O'Neil, Dan G. Petersen, John B. Walsh, Stephen Foy, Michael Hogan, Tom Keays, Norbert Paap, Chris Falt, Dave Wooldridge, Robert Thorpe, A. Lee Worman, Nick Terhorst and mvhplank.
- O'Neill's Dance Music of Ireland (1907), transcribed to ABC by Frank Nordberg (Musica Viva).
- Ryan's Mammoth Collection and Cole's 1000 Fiddle Tunes, in ABC by John Chambers, Ray Davies, Bob Puckette, John B. Walsh and other contributors.
Melody Acquaintance converts these transcriptions into the melody outlines it matches against; any error in that conversion is ours, not the transcribers'.
Thank you to everyone who typed these tunes in.
